Wu Xuan pointed out that with the acceleration of the clean energy transition, green hydrogen is receiving increasingly widespread attention from various parties. The GEIDCO has been paying close attention to the development trends of green hydrogen related technologies, industries and policies, and it has carried out a series of studies on development potential, market space and technological advancement assessment. Green hydrogen is an emerging industry. The power industry is undergoing new changes under the opportunity of building a new energy system and constructing a new power system. Hydrogen-electricity synergy is a systematic and pioneering effort that requires global wisdom and strength.

Liu Wei stated that the development of hydrogen has become global consensus. China has taken the lead globally in the hydrogen production capacity, hydrogen refueling infrastructure construction, and demonstration application of fuel cell commercial vehicles. Building an ecosystem featuring hydrogen-electricity synergy is of great significance for accelerating the clean development of traditional energy and the large-scale use of clean energy. China Hydrogen Alliance hopes to work with the GEIDCO to build a global cooperation network on hydrogen and promote the coordinated development of hydrogen and electricity.

Paul Van Son said that the Middle East and North Africa are rich in clean energy resources and have great potential for green hydrogen development. The MENA Hydrogen Alliance hopes to take advantage of the good platform of the GEIDCO to promote regional hydrogen and clean energy development.
