University Alliance of Global Energy Interconnection

For giving full play to the advantages and enthusiasm of universities in scientific research, education and academic exchanges. Adheres to resource sharing, collaborative innovation, mutual benefit and win-win cooperation, provide technical innovation, multi-type talent training and concept spread, support and serve for the development of the global energy interconnection(GEI), transformation and of the energy around the world and the sustainable development of human society, Global Energy Interconnection Development and Cooperation Organization(GEIDCO) launched University Alliance of Global Energy Interconnection (hereinafter as UAGEI).

As an exchange and cooperation mechanism under the framework of GEIDCO, UAGEI is composed of famous universities around the world who are dedicated to promoting the sustainable development of energy worldwide. There is no member fee charge. UAGEI will organize activities in scientific research, education and academic exchanges. Build a comprehensive platform for sharing information resources, cultivating multi-type talents，academic and technical research. Promote exchange and cooperation among all members, jointly forward the innovation and development of GEI. Members of UAGEI can participate in relevant meetings and training, obtain information resource, and promote publicity.

UAGEI was announced the establishment on September 26, 2018. The first batch of members have 32 universities, including 21 universities in China (including 2 universities in Hong Kong and Macao) and 11 universities abroad. UAGEI has chairman member, vice-chairman member and secretariat. The chairman and vice-chairman member adopt a rotating system with every two years. The first chairman member is Shandong university, and vice-chairman members are North China Electric Power University and University of Birmingham. The secretariat is a permanent body established in the cooperation bureau of GEIDCO.

Exclusive service for the members of UAGEI：

1. Conference

• Participate in the TAGEI Member Plenary, to deliver speech or talks, to exchange information and to promote cooperation.
• Participate in the TAGEI thematic Meetings, to conduct special conference speeches and to promote publicity.

2. Training & Exchange

• Participate in UAGEI technic training for members, visiting, investigation and survey activities, talk, discussion and communication activities.

3. Advertisement

• Display and demonstrate members information in relevant activities organized by TAGEI.
• Advertise on specified advertising material assigned by TAGEI.

4. Information

• Obtain annual report, quarterly information, relevant research report or abstract of TAGEI.

According to the members’ contribution to UAGEI, obtain partial service of GEIDCO members

1. Conference

• To be invited to participate in conferences and activities organized by GEIDCO.
• Co-organize meetings and events with GEIDCO.

2. Training & Exchange

• To be invited to participate in the demonstration project visits organized by GEIDCO.
• To be invited to participate in technic training and talent training plan organized by GEIDCO.

3. Advertisement

• Advertise and promote on social media platform, such as GEIDCO website, WeChat public account and Neng APP.

4. Information

• Obtain the abstract of research reports of GEIDCO.
