CEC:China Electricity Council Releases "ChinaPower Industry Development Report 2024

July 10, 2024 /CEC/- On July 10, 2024, the China Electricity Council (CEC) held a press conference inBeiing to release the "China Power Industry Development Report 2024" (hereinafter referred to as the'Report 2024"). The CEC secretary General and spokesperson, Hao yingjie, presented the Report 2024More than ten media outlets, including science and Technology Daily, china Daily, and People's Dailoverseas Edition,attended the press conference.

This is the 19th year that the CEC has produced a development report on china's power sector. Based onstatistics and survey data from the power sector, the Report 2024 provides an overview of the currentstage of development and reform in Chinds power industry. it systematically analyzes theaccomplishments of the aforementioned sector in 2023 and proiects the arowth prospects for 2024resulting in an authoritative research that describes the yearly development of China's power industrfrom multiple perspectives.

The Report 2024 consists of 14 chapters, highlighting key areas such as power consumption, powelproduction and supply-demand balance, power investment and construction, new type power systemspower market development, power safety and reliability, low-carbon environmental protection, powelenterprise development and operations,international power development and cooperationstandardization, science and technology, and digital transition. it also looks ahead to the development of China's power industry in 2024 and the medium to long term.

To provide an in-depth, systematic, and professional overview of the development in various fields ofChina's power industry, the CEC has also compiled specific reports on power supply and demandanalysis, international cooperation, power construction engineering quality, standardization, reliability.talent management, cost management, electrification, digital transition, technological innovation, creditsystem construction, power construction engineering inspection and testing, and legal compliance. Thishas resulted in the CEC's "l+N" yearly series of reports, which attempt to better satisfy the requirementsof readers in a variety of sectors. These reports will shortly be published and distributed.
