Petrobras’ oil and Gas Output Declined by 3% in 2024 to 2.7 Mboe/d

The Brazilian national oil and gas group Petrobas’ hydrocarbon output declined by 3% in 2024 to 2.7 mboe/d, with 2.15 mboe/d of oil (-4%) and 0.51 mboe/d of gas (-2%). The production volume in pre-salt represents 81% of the total production in 2024 (1.8 mboe/d). In the Refining, Transportation and Marketing (RTM) segment, total oil product output in 2024 was 1.78 mb/d, slightly higher than in 2023. Of this total, 69% corresponded to high value products (diesel, gasoline and jet fuel). The company sold 1.7 mb/d of refined products in 2024, which is 1% below than in 2023.
