On April 14, Sinopec announced that China's first cross-regional hydrogen-powered heavy-duty truck route ofcially commenced operations and will begin regular service.This "Western Land-Sea Hydrogen Corridor" starts in Chongqing and extends to Qinzhou Port in Guangxi, spanning approximately 1,150 kilometers with four hydrogen refueling stations along the way. The route passes through logistics hubs such as the Chongqing Highway Logistics Base, Guizhou Express Logistics Park, and Nanning Shajiang Jiangnan Logistics Park, aiming to drive mid- and short-distance hydrogen logistics applications in surrounding areas of Chongqing, Guizhou, and Guangxi. This marks a significant step in advancing hydrogen energy development in China's western regions. By 2027, over 40 hydrogen refueling stations are expected to be built along the ChongqingGuizhouGuangxi corridor, with more than 1,500 hydrogen fuel cell trucks deployed,equivalent to an annual carbon reduction exceeding 200,000 tons.
