Three Global Energy Interconnection standards (hereinafter referred to as “GEI Standards”) have been drafted and approved by the Technical Committee after expert review. In accordance with the Guidelines for GEI Standardization Work, GEIDCO will soon initiate the member voting process.
The three standards proposed to enter the voting procedure were jointly drafted by experts from nine countries, covering areas such as renewable energy consumption accounting, green certificates, and green and low-carbon evaluation of power equipment. To fully safeguard the rights and interests of members, the registration channel for the voting pool of these three standards is now officially open to all member entities of the Organization, effective immediately. The deadline is 24:00 (Beijing Time), July 20, 2026.
To facilitate member entities in understanding detailed information, the Organization has prepared materials including basic information on the three draft standards, a voting intention form, and an introduction to GEI standardization work.
